I was talking with one of my coaches earlier this week and we got on to the topic of the work we do for our clients. This got me thinking. In simplistic terms we help our clients through the commercial property process, whether that be finding new premises, lease or purchase negotiations. Through that process we save our clients time, money and ultimately a lot of frustration.
That is part of what we do, that’s the visible outward layer, but it goes much, much deeper than that.
Business owners, founders, CEOs Managing Directors, Financial Directors, COO’s come to us and ask for our help, as they trust us to deliver a better property solution for their business. They are asking us to use our experience, expertise and knowledge to often identify the right property or site for their business an negotiate a lease or purchase that helps them achieve their business (and sometimes these are entwined with personal) goals and objectives.
In most instances these are multi million pound turnover busineses, in sectors such as manufacturing, bitotech, storage and distribution to name a few. These businesses have a property problem that they ask us to solve and in so doing, they are trusting us with their livelihoods and asking us in part to enable their business to continue to thrive.
Looking at what we do in these terms and the level of trust that is required. I feel very privileged.
Being a part in our client’s journeys of business success, brings huge personal satisfaction.
There is an even better bit though and that is I get to work with some amazing people. I enjoy working with them and on their behalf. They are fantastic, they are growth orientated, they are forward thinking, they have great energy and that is why I absolutely love doing what I do.
