The commercial property market is very active at the moment.  Lots of businesses starting or scaling up and looking for new premises.  This may be you. 

As you get busier, searching or negotiating for a commercial property can become a distraction and can quickly drain your time and resource.  It is noticeable that in the past few weeks, the commercial property agents (who are marketing properties for their landlord clients) are under significant pressure, simply due to the volume of enquiries they are dealing with.

A business owner contacted me this week and said he had submitted an offer and had been waiting three weeks for a response.  He was getting incredibly frustrated with the process and the agent and said that he simply wants to get on with his business.  He asked for help, provided us with instructions and within an hour, I had picked up the phone, spoken to my contacts and got a response.

This got me thinking, so I’ve been looking through our client list and whilst we deal with a broad spectrum of businesses across different industries and from start-ups to businesses that turnover up to £100m, they all have one thing in common.

That is a growth minded business owner, MD or management team, that are lazer focued on their business, see their time and resources as very valuable and don’t want to get distracted and bogged down in the commercial property process.
